Costa Rica Concepts will set up a custom itinerary and budget that meets your specific needs and goals.  You will be provided with an initial budget , which will include all in-country expenses and our service fee.  Fifty percent of our service fee must accompany the client’s acceptance of the initial budget and general itinerary.  The remaining 50% will be paid at least 30 days prior to your trip.  All transactions are done in U.S. dollars (credit/debit card, personal checks, or electronic transfer).

Once we have received  50% of our service fee and the signed waiver and release forms,  we will work with you to come up with a final budget and itinerary.  This first payment is not refundable.  The final budget will also indicate what the cancellation fee would be in the event that you cancel your trip.  If the trip is cancelled, and the cancellation fee is larger than what has been paid, you will pay the balance.  If the cancellation fee is less than what has been paid, you will be reimbursed the difference.

There may or may not be reservation costs for a particular Costa Rican company or service that you would use.  These may be paid directly by you or by Costa Rica Concepts.  If paid by Costa Rica Concepts, these funds must be sent to us before any reservations can be made.  Depending on your activities in Costa Rica, you may pay the companies and services you use directly, or have Costa Rica Concepts handle all in-country expenses (funds must be sent in advance).

Pricing for Translation Services is based on the type of document and the final word count.  Send us a sample page, and indicate the number of pages in the document, and we will furnish you a quote.  Fifty percent of the translation fee must be paid before work begins.  Copyright laws are taken into account; therefore depending on the document, proof of permission to translate may need to be submitted.

Depending on the factors involved, pricing for General Consulting will range from zero to a small fee.

Special Discounts

Some attractions, activities and services in Costa Rica provide special discounts for senior citizens age 65 and older.  Costa Rica Concepts will handle these arrangements if they apply to you.

Preliminary Steps to Take

• Contact us and let us know what you have in mind.
• Based on the information you give us and our conversation, we will work on an initial budget and general itinerary and get it to you.
• Approve the initial budget and general itinerary, and send 50% of Costa Rica Concepts’ service fee along with the signed waiver & release forms.
• We will work with you in coming up with a final budget and detailed itinerary.
• Plan for your trip- purchasing airline tickets, making sure passports are in order, etc. (passports must be at least six months valid at the date of return).
• Pay the remaining 50% of the Costa Rica Concepts’  fee at least 30 days prior to your trip.
